May Day 2008: Added to the Rosa Luxemburg Archive:

The Anti-Critique, or, to give it its full name: The Accumulation of Capital - An Anti-critique; The Accumulation of Capital, or What the Epigones Have Made of Marx's Theory. Rosa Luxemburg originally wrote this in 1915 during enforced leisure of detention during the First World War. It was written as a response to various criticisms raised in the critical onslaught met by her Accumulation of Capital, when it was published in 1913. Although Luxemburg gives sharp responses to several critics, the work is principally focussed on the the criticisms made by Otto Bauer in an article 'Die Akkumulation des Kapitals' published in 1913 in two issues of Die Neue Zeit, Vol. 30, No.1, Nr. 23 und Nr. 24, 7. u. 14. März 1913, s831-38; 862-74. The Anti-Critique was only published in 1921, after Luxemburg's murder. The Anti-Critique was itself criticised by Nikolai Bukharin in a detailed response: Imperialism and the Accumulation of Capital, which we expect to add to the MIA shortly.
